Lions Lads Get Off The Bench

Liverpool Lions u15's players Luke Crossland, Bradley Kinsella, James Fryer and Jaan Hamdid all recently completed the "Off The Bench" programme in conjunction with St Helen's RLFC. Pictured showed the four players L to R. James Fryer Jaan Hamdid Luke Crossland and Bradley Kinsella attended the Saints match On Feb 25th vs. Warrington Wolves. The lads hope to do their Level 1 badges soon.

Jurgen Klopp unsure when Daniel Sturridge will return for Liverpool

Jurgen Klopp Liverpool manager says that he has not given any thought to Daniel Sturridge's long term future even though he does not know when the England forward might return to fitness. Sturridge managed just 106 min. over three matches since Klopp succeeded Brendan Rodgers at Anfield and is not in contention for Saturday's FA cup fourth-round visit of West Ham or Tuesday's trip to Premier League leaders Leicester after more interruptions to his training schedule. Since he moved to Merseyside 3 years ago, Sturridge has been unavailable for 54.8 per cent of his time at the club – a total of 615 days missed out of 1,122.

“Liverpool is the big thing for me” – James Milner hoping to prolong career with England retirement

James Milner, Liverpool midfielder is looking to prolong his club career after retiring from international duty with England. He announced his retirement from the Three Lions after an unsuccessful campaign at the European Championship in France this summer.He played just 3 min. for Roy Hodgson's side, bringing his tally of caps up to 61, but he said after the tournament that with the good young players they have coming through, it is pointless to him taking up a spot just because he is reliable. Liverpool still have a host of players regularly included in the England setup, with Jordan Henderson and Daniel Sturridge currently away on duty.
