Liverpool Lions Under 13's 34 Langwothy Reds Under 13's 10

Lions secure first win.

The Liverpool Lions Under 13's secured there first win with a comfortable 34 - 10 home victory over Langworthy Reds.

The lions started strongly with 2 quick long range tries from Kenny Watkins and Yohan Belami. to take the score to 8 - 0.

Langworthy dug deep to defend but strong running and great passing from the Lions made room for Watkins to score his second, Watkins converted his own try, before Josh Gow showed his strength brushing the Langworthy defence aside to score, taking the score to 18-0.

Watkins completed his hat-trick before the break capitalising on a dropped ball from a high kick. half time 22-0.

The Reds came out strong in the second half. Strong lions defence kept them out forcing the Reds make errors. More great attacking play saw Dylan Metcalf score which was converted by James Radcliffe. 28-0.

The final lions try once again came from Watkins which was converted by new recruit Michael Milne. 34-0.

Langworth desperate not to be nilled hit a strong patch, attacking well in the final minutes Belami made several try saving tackles before the Reds crossed for there first try, conversion missed and finally getting there second score a great 70m effort in the final minute under the posts. final score 34-10.
